Cubana unveils three products to celebrate one year anniversary of Odogwu Bitters

Cubana Trading and Investment Company Ltd, the marker of Odogwu Bitters, has unveiled three new products from its stable to mark one year anniversary of Odogwu Bitters, its flagship alcoholic drink brand.

The bitters took the Nigerian alcoholic beverage market by storm, when it launched early last, offering quality, competitive pricing and premium taste to customers.

Speaking during the unveiling of new products at the company’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos, Obinna Iyiegbu, chairman, of Cubana Trading and Investment Company Ltd, noted that in one year in the market, Odogwo Bitters, which he described as a social drink, has changed the way bitters are perceived and has also encouraged many who hitherto regarded bitters as a drink for low-class people to enjoy Odogwu with pride and in high places.

According to the chairman, who is popularly called Obi Cubana, the bitters brand has also changed the market because of the quality it offers.

“We are careful with every product that comes from the Cubana brand because we value our name. We observe world best practice in our production and that is why you can see Odogwu Biters in the shelves of departmental stores across the world today. It is a good image for Nigeria as our products are now consumed abroad”, the chairman said.

To consolidate Odogwu Bitter’s presence in the market and impact so far, Iyiegbu unveiled three new products with a promise of more to come across the year.

The products include; Hammer, an alcoholic drink made from mixed vodka; Malay, an energy drink and Odogwu Hush, a mild drink for ladies with less percentage of alcohol.

Speaking after the unveiling of the new products, the chairman explained that they have passed all necessary health and safety certifications as well as offer variety, more enjoyment and distribution opportunities for Nigerians.

The product unveiling was witnessed by some dignitaries including executives of the company, the brand ambassadors; Freedom Eke (Odogwu Jellof) and Warri Pikin (Odogwu Mama), among others.

He also assured that more products would be unveiled across the year.
