Inspired2Lead, a leadership development and management consulting firm, has facilitated an enterprise-wide Change Management Training for staff of the Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS) across its Lagos and Abuja offices.
The training was designed to equip employees with the skills and mindset required to manage organisational change and support the implementation of CSCS’s strategic priorities.
It was led by Odeyemi Olayiwole, the chief executive officer of Inspired2Lead, alongside other facilitators from the firm.
Shehu Shantali, the managing director and chief executive officer of CSCS, flagged off the training cohorts in both cities, where he stressed the importance of employee readiness in driving the organisation’s transformation agenda.
Speaking at the opening sessions, Shantali said change readiness is critical as CSCS implements its three-year strategic vision.
He said achieving organisational goals requires clear strategies and employees who are prepared to adapt and deliver on new expectations.
The training covered areas including understanding change dynamics, managing resistance, building adaptability and resilience, fostering continuous improvement, and aligning individual roles with organisational objectives.
Participants also engaged in case studies, interactive sessions, and practical exercises focused on translating strategy into measurable actions across the organisation.
According to Olayiwole, successful organisational transformation depends on people.
“Organizations do not change; people do. Sustainable change happens when employees understand the vision, embrace the purpose behind the change, and possess the capabilities required to execute it. We are delighted to partner with CSCS in preparing its workforce for the future,” he said.
The training is expected to support CSCS in delivering its three-year strategic plan by strengthening change leadership capacity and improving alignment across the organisation.
Participants described the sessions as practical and relevant to their roles, adding that the training would improve their ability to support ongoing transformation initiatives.
CSCS said the programme forms part of its broader effort to build a high-performing and future-ready workforce within Nigeria’s financial market infrastructure ecosystem.
