289 Nigerians have arrived Abuja from USA 4th Evacuation flight on Wednesday 29th July 2020 from Newark New Jersey about 13:35 hours as the Nigerian government continues to repatriate more Nigerians following the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the Twitter handle of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) the flight departed on Tuesday 28th July 2020 and the passengers include;135 Male, 142 female and 12 infants.
Meanwhile, arrangements for additional two evacuation flights are being concluded from the USA to Lagos on 31st July from Houston Texas and a combined flight to Abuja and Lagos on 7th August 2020 from Newark, NewJersey.
Nigeria has so far evacuated over 2,000 out of the 4,000 of its nationals who have indicated interest to return home from different parts of the world following the Covid-19 pandemic.
