Femi Olaleye, the managing director of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, was found guilty of raping his wife’s niece and received a life sentence.
The doctor was found guilty on Tuesday by Judge Rahman Oshodi of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Lagos.
In November 2022, Olaleye was charged with two counts of defilement of a minor and sexual assault by penetration by the Lagos state government. On the other hand, the physician entered a not-guilty plea to the two counts.
