CITN gets approval to conduct professional examination in October

In furtherance to the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) earlier communication to its members and students on the postponement of April 2020 professional examination due to the government restriction on social gatherings as a result of outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic, the Institute has obtained approval to conduct its April 2020 Professional Examination diet from the relevant government authority.

A recent notice by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) signed by its Registrar/Chief Executive, Adefisayo Awogbade, stated that, “In view of the foregoing, the April 2020 Professional Examinations are now scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Please note that this serves as a notice to all registered students, District Societies and the general public at large.”

CITN noted that the online examination registration portal for the April Professional Examination Diet is still open “but will be closed on Sunday, September 27, 2020 while late entry commences on Monday, September 28, 2020 and closes on Sunday October 4, 2020.”

“In addition to the above, the October diet of the examination will take place in the 2nd week of January 2021 to accommodate those candidates that are not going to be able to partake in this rescheduled April diet.

“All candidates should note that all COVID-19 protocols in line with Federal Government directives will be fully observed in all the examination centres and candidates must comply with the protocols. Please, note that any student who fails to comply will be denied entrance into the examination hall”, the Institute said in the recent notice.
