The general overseer of Triumphant Christian Centre, Samuel Olubiyo has admonished Christians to develop a lifestyle of impact, labour, love and service for God.
He stated this during the recent Service of Songs for the late founding bishop of Powerline Bible Church, Lawrence Osagie who died on September 10, 2023, at the age of 65 years.
“Serve and labour for God to impact others, not what you acquired or possess; but what you do with the opportunity and the privilege God has given you to serve Him. Your testimony of impact, sowing seeds into others and serving God faithfully, should be our main drive as a Christian and believer,” he stated.
Olubiyo described the late Osagie as a general in God’s Army and a man of conviction and passion for God; a wisdom coach and a compassionate leader with impact. He also highlighted some reasons why it is important for Christians and believers to live a life of purpose and service to God.

He enjoined Christians to understand that their primary purpose is to live for God and serve him with the testimony of impacting others, sowing seeds of love and building legacy worship and fellowship with God.
“It’s glaring from testimonies and tributes that Bishop Osagie did not only touch lives, he impacted lives and ensured they are rooted in the knowledge of God,” he stated.

He encouraged the immediate family to accept and acknowledge that Osagie has run his race, accomplished his purpose here on earth and left behind a strong structure of faith, impact and service to God as a legacy to continue building on. Olubiyo urged the church not to be weary or troubled over the departure of their pastor and bishop.
“Bishop has departed for greater assignment in heaven, this is the right time to stand and show loyalty in his absence, time to be strong in the knowledge of God he had impacted on you and time to demonstrate the spirit of service he taught you. Let’s work on and be courageous to build on the legacy he left behind,” Olubiyo stated.
The first son, Idahosa Osagie read the first Bible lesson from the book of Psalm 91: 1 – 16, while the last of the three sons, Gospel Osagie, gave the vote of thanks. Similarly, David Oyedepo led the prayers for the family.
