Businesses without a digitable workforce are not ready for the future, according to Sam Abu, Country Senior Partner PwC Nigeria and Regional Senior Partner, West Africa.
He disclosed this at the ongoing BusinessDay Forum in Lagos. Abu revealed that most business executives are bothering with the rising brain drain in the country noted that not all staff can be replaced with another.

He said, “65 percent of CEOs are adapting new technology to boost their various businesses and make them more competitive. Forming new business strategies and new pricing models plays a crucial role in new business.
“Businesses are rethinking their supply chain and transforming their workforce. There is also the need to enable technology, making the workforce digitable. If you don’t have one, you are not ready for the future. Sustainability is critical.”
Abu highlighted that businesses in Nigeria are rethinking their operational strategies because of harsh economic realities. “You have to rethink your business models, so you do not get left behind,” he added.
