The Spa & Wellness Association of Africa appointed award-winning wellness coach and CEO of Eden Lifestyle ltd, Maje Ayida as the new Vice Executive Committee Chair of its Nigerian Chapter.

The Association made this announcement via their social media platform, stating that the association was happy to welcome Maje Ayida to the SWAA family, with a caption that read “Congratulations to Maje Ayida on becoming the Vice Executive Committee Chair, Nigeria Spa & Wellness Association Africa Chapter”

Regarded as the Doyen of health and fitness in Nigeria, Maje Ayida is an accomplished international speaker, influencer and writer, with several tv and radio appearances. Maje continues in his dedication and unwavering efforts in educating and clamoring for an all-round healthy living amongst Nigerians.

Speaking on the appointment, Maje Ayida expressed that “Wellness services are so vital now in this new world, It’s a privilege to be part of the industry’s evolution”. He is also the founder of the popular fitness brand in Lagos known as HIIT Squad, the team responsible for three annual groundbreaking school fitness tours in Lagos, Nigeria.

In his new role as Vice Executive Committee Chair, Maje Ayida will be working closely with other board directors and the Nigeria SWAA Executive Chair, to set and maintain industry standards, encourage education and the promotion of healthy lifestyle.

With Maje Ayida’s extensive experience in the Nigerian health and wellness space, there is no doubt in his capabilities to execute and deliver excellently on this role.

She has undergone several journalism trainings by various prestigious organisations. Ifeoma is also a fellow of the Female Reporters Leadership Fellowship of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism.
