China has responded to the tariffs imposed by US Donald Trump with duties of up to 15% on US farm goods. Beijing added 10 US firms to its unreliable entity list and 15 to the export control list.

The moves come as Trump’s tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico take effect Tuesday. Canada matched Trump’s duties with 25% levies on about $21 billion of US goods. Soybean futures are weaker, while Chinese stocks in Hong Kong and the mainland are muted.
