Business School Netherlands earns recognition on action learning, students-first approach

Africa’s pathway from dependency to prosperity

The Business School Netherlands (BSN) has again been ranked among the Tier One Global MBA Business Schools on account of its students-first approach, innovative action learning and commitment to excellence.

The recognition was announced in the latest edition (2023) of the CEO Magazine Global MBA rankings, making it the 11th consecutive year the school has received the ranking and recognition.

Lere Baale, a Professor and CEO of BSN Nigeria, said, “achieving 10th position out of a group of 105 tier-one global universities and business schools is an immense source of pride. It reaffirms our commitment to excellence; we are honoured to be so recognised by the CEO Magazine.

A recent report notes that excellence has become timeless at BSN as venture capitalists, global CEOs, and directors of international corporations and multinationals continue to rate Action Learning MBA graduates from the school among the best in the world, using a fact-based criteria.

According to the report, specific criteria considered in assessing business schools are based on key performance indicators of interest and value to potential students.

Quality of faculty is weighted 34.95 percent; international diversity, 9.71 percent; class size, 9.71 percent; accreditation, 8.74 percent; faculty to student ratio, 7.76 percent; price, 5.83 percent; international exposure, 4.85 percent; work experience, 4.85 percent; professional development, 4.85 percent; gender parity, 4.85 percent; and delivery methods, 3.8 percent.

CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since its first launch in 2008. In 2012, the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programmes.

Over the last 35 years, BSN has trained over 7000 Action Learning MBA graduates who are now top business transformation leaders, and are result and growth-driven in different sectors of today’s disruptive, volatile, unpredictable, ambiguous, risky and diverse business world.
