Bauchi persons living with disabilities appeal for job consideration 

The Bauchi State officials of the People Living with Disability (PLWD) have begged Government to consider them in the ongoing 5,669 employment process that will be shared across 20 Local Government Areas of the State.

Haruna Pali, who led the delegation to the Office of the Bogoro Local Government Chairman, Yakubu Lawi Sumi, said considering the Peoples Living With Disability (PLWD) would really help in solving many of their problems.

He assured the Local Government Chairman that if really considered, they would contribute immensely to the development of the Bogoro, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.

The leader of the delegation expressed appreciation to the Council boss for showing concern towards Persons With Disability in the Local Government. He thanked Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for his continuous support and attention to persons with special needs.

Yakubu Lawi Sumi, the Council boss, appreciated them for the visitation, saying his administration would continue to support their activities.

He assured them that their requests would be given due consideration in line with the administration’s vision for equitable development and social justice.
