Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has sacked all the political appointees and all commissioners with immediate effect. He appreciated them for their great contributions to the development of the state and his administration.
Announcing the dissolution of the cabinet through the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Kashim, to newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting at the State Government House, Bauchi, he said that others affected are Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Personal Assistants, heads of various Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government.

He however, said that the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary retained their positions till the inauguration period.
Kashim said that during the meeting, Mohammed thanked the outgoing cabinet members for their positive contributions towards the successes achieved by his administration in the first tenure.
