Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has called on Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to return to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and unite with the opposition ahead of the 2027 general election.

His appeal follows a Federal High Court ruling that set aside an earlier judgment directing INEC to register the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party.

According to Ibe, now is the time for opposition leaders to put aside their differences and work together to present a strong challenge in the 2027 elections.

The development has reignited debate over whether opposition parties should unite under one platform or continue to pursue separate political paths.
