Appeal Court gives verdict on sacking of Otti

Alex Otti, governor of Abia State, has won again at the Kano Court of Appeal.

This comes barely two weeks after his state’s governorship election petition tribunal upheld his election in the governorship contest on March 18,

In its decision on Friday, October 20, the appeal court overturned the decision made by the Federal High Court in Kano. According to Daily Independence, the governor of Abia was purportedly fired by Justice M. N. Yunusa’s May 18 ruling.
