The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) has been commended for various commitments in advancing the core practice of the medical laboratory science.
Members of the Association were also commended for upholding the tenets of the profession in their various establishments.
Uche Odionyenma, the National President of the Association made the commendation in an Easter message, which was sent to BusinessDay in Owerri.
Odionyenma noted the collective efforts of the members and their contributions to advancing the Nigerian health sector saying the association aimed to encourage the study, advance and improve the practice of medical laboratory science in the country.
He appreciation the members for their tireless efforts in their various establishments and advised them to put in more efforts to help stem the tide of Nigerians’ medical tourism to other lands.
Odionyenma also commended other workers in healthcare and urged collaborate efforts in the health sector to make laboratory science more attractive.
He noted the commitment of members to quality healthcare delivery which he said remained invaluable.
