….new regional routes to commence 1 August 2026

Air Peace, West Africa’s leading airline and Nigeria’s foremost carrier, has announced the launch of new scheduled flight services connecting Lagos with Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon), Bamako (Mali), and Conakry (Guinea), effective 1 August 2026.

The introduction of these new destinations represents another major milestone in the airline’s ambitious network expansion strategy and further strengthens its commitment to improving connectivity across Africa while promoting trade, tourism, investment, cultural exchange, and economic integration among African nations.

The launch of these services significantly enhances Air Peace’s regional network while reinforcing Lagos as a strategic aviation gateway connecting West and Central Africa to an extensive domestic and international route network.

Through its Lagos hub, passengers travelling from Douala, Libreville, Bamako, and Conakry will enjoy seamless onward connections to numerous destinations across Nigeria, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Asaba, Gombe, Ibadan, Yola, Maiduguri, and several other cities nationwide.

The new services will also provide access to Air Peace’s international network, including London Gatwick in the United Kingdom, as well as Caribbean destinations such as Antigua and Barbados.

This enhanced connectivity opens up new opportunities for business travel, tourism, education, family visits, and trade between Africa and the wider world.

Commenting on the development, Air Peace management stated: “The launch of these new regional services underscores our commitment to connecting Africa through safe, reliable, and affordable air transportation.

“By expanding our footprint across West and Central Africa, we are not only providing more travel options for our customers but also facilitating commerce, tourism, investment, and regional integration. Lagos continues to evolve as a key hub in our network strategy, enabling seamless connections between Africa and international destinations.”

The airline noted that the new routes form part of its broader vision of supporting the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) initiatives by improving air connectivity and reducing travel barriers across the continent.

Travel agencies, corporate organizations, and passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the new services, competitive fares, generous baggage allowances, and seamless connectivity available throughout the Air Peace network.
