AbdulKarim Chukkol, the director of operations at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has been appointed as the acting Chairman by President Bola Tinubu, amid a sweeping change in the leadership of Nigeria’s foremost anti-corruption agency.
Chukkol’s ascension to the top post follows the suspension, indefinitely, of former EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Abdulkarim Chukkol who is the son of Professor Chukkol, has a remarkable background and extensive experience in law enforcement and anti-corruption operations.
