15 vessels to berth at Lagos ports with petroleum products, others

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says no fewer than 15 ships are waiting to berth at the Lagos ports.

According to a daily publication of NPA “Shipping Position”, obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday, two of the expected vessels will berth with general cargo.

“Two of the vessels will berth with petrol, another four vessels to berth with bulk wheat, two vessels to berth with towing, while the remaining five vessels will berth with gypsum, bulk clinker, diesel, Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) and aviation fuel.

“The 15 expected vessels will berth at ENL Consortium, AMPT, Apapa Bulk and Green view Development Nigeria Ltd. terminals in Lagos,” NPA said.

It said that only a vessel was currently discharging containers of various goods at Lekki Deep Seaport.
