Fuel retailer Total Nigeria said on Monday its first-quarter pretax profit fell to N1.71 billion ($10.61 million), down 7.56 percent from N1.85 billion a year ago.

Turnover also fell to N60.59 billion during the three months period to March, compared with 61.04 billion naira in the same period of last year, it said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange
