RSM partners Stransact to expand footprint in Nigeria

Stransact Partners task incoming govt on holistic tax reforms

RSM International (RSM), the sixth-largest global network of independent audit, tax, and advisory firms, has appointed Stransact, an independent Nigerian firm of chartered accountants, as its new correspondent firm in Lagos.

This is to provide local expertise and experience to international clients of RSM, which has a footprint in Nigeria, the organisation said at a press conference held on Thursday in Lagos.

The partnership gives Stransact an opportunity to have access to better professionals, training, and use of brand while creating more employment opportunities.

Stransact, which caters to small and medium businesses, was selected due to its strict compliance with the law, transparency, and ability to connect with its clients, according to a statement.

“RSM’s decision to appoint Stransact as a correspondent firm is based on the confidence the leadership of RSM has in our ability to connect with clients, colleagues, and communities, a core tenet of RSM’s commitment to delivering the power of being understood,” Eben Joels, principal at Stransact, said.
