Lagos, Nigeria, May 13th. In a demonstration of one of its core beliefs that distributors constitute major bastions to any business, Lucky Fibres makers of Nobel Carpet, Nigeria’s premium carpet and rugs brand, recently dazzled its ever-reliable trade partners across Nigeria with grand receptions to appreciate their support.
The Distributors’ parties which were held in four key cities across Nigeria started in Lagos and covered the company’s distributors within the South West Zone, the Port Harcourt branch party covered the entire Eastern Zone and the Kano branch party covered the whole Northern Zone. The event featured the presentation of awards to deserving distributors that we’re able to meet and surpass the set target during the just-concluded trade promo.
The high points of the events were the presentation of the star prizes to a total of 5 winners, Adesina Olukemi (Kess Carpets) and Surajudeen Oladokun (Obokun Carpets), winners from Lagos & Ibadan, who got brand new Honda City and Hyundai Elentra cars respectively. R.C Oforukwuga (RC Ofor Carpets) and Tony Ogu (Tony International Carpets), winners from the Port Harcourt zone event got brand new Honda City and Hyundai Accent cars respectively, while Alhaji Lawan Abubakar (Beli Ventures Nigeria Enterprises), the winner from Kano party got Hyundai Accent.
Speaking at the Lagos party, Kunal Malhotra, general manager, Nobel Carpet & Rugs stated that, Lucky Fibres Plc has decided to reward these distributors for their continuous and unparalleled support for the brand, Nobel Carpet. He also emphasized that the success the brand has achieved is heavily hinged on the support enjoyed by the Distributors.
In Malhotra’s words, “we are here today to celebrate our valued partners who have proven themselves consistent and reliable over the years. Our brand, Nobel carpet is the preferred carpet and rug brand not only in Nigeria but also in entire Sub-Saharan Africa. We can boldly affirm that this achievement would be impossible without the continued support of our distributors”.
Also commenting at the event, Bunmi Odunoye, assistant sales manager, Nobel Carpet & Rugs ‘‘we congratulate and celebrate with all the distributors who have won the star prizes at this year’s distributors’ party, we are very happy to be associated with them and we hope it will continue to be a mutually beneficial relationship’’. She also used the opportunity to reaffirm the company’s commitment to producing the best quality and promoting made in Nigeria goods.
The Nobel Carpet distributors’ party is a yearly event that has been on since 2010. The company hopes to maintain and promote the bond with its trade partners so as to sustain the success it has achieved over the years.
It will also be noted that the company recently held a special customer engagement programme for its mega distributors across the nation tagged “NOBEL CARPET Distributors Summit – Dubai 2013” in February.
