Nigerian Commodities Exchange moves to provide traders real-time information

The Nigerian Commodities Exchange (NCX) has launched its new website in a move to provide traders with real-time information about commodities of interests.

The Nigeria Commodity Exchange provides a structured market for agricultural commodities and extractives. Domiciled under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission, NXC functions as a self-regulatory organisation.

Anthony Atuche, Managing Director and CEO, of NCX said through a post on X that the website will provide live data about crops and commodities for interested traders.

“As part of our efforts to reposition the Nigeria Commodity Exchange as the foremost commodity exchange in Nigeria and beyond, we are excited to announce the launch of our newly upgraded website that opens the door to Nigeria’s commodities from all walks of life through a seamless process,” Atuche said.

“The new website provides users with real-time information about their crops/commodities of interest with a transparent trading process embedded for prospective traders,” he said in a post on X.

The NCX plays a dual role as an ecosystem facilitator and an active participant, facilitating trade among traders in the commodities market.
