The nation’s currency on Thursday strengthens across segments of foreign exchange as external reserves rises to $30.36 billion as at July 11, from $30.33 billion in July 6, 2017, data from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) show.

Naira gained N0.94k to close at N362.80k to the dollar on Thursday from N366.25k per dollar traded the previous day at the investors and exporters forex window.

The local currency was on Thursday quoted at the rate of N305.95k per dollar at the inter-bank spot foreign exchange market, the same level it traded on Wednesday.

At the black market, naira appreciated by N1.00k or 0.27 percent to close at N365 on Thursday as against N366 per dollar traded the previous day.
