Investors on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday staked N3.38 billion on 305.32 million shares in 5,473 deals.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this was in contrast to the 368.01 million shares valued at N3.75 billion exchanged in 5,208 deals on Tuesday.
The All-Share Index appreciated by 39.42 points or 0.12 percent to close at 33,468.88 against the 33,429.46 posted on Tuesday after declining for two consecutive days.
Similarly, the market capitalisation rose by N12 billion to close at N10.71 trillion on Wednesday against the N10.69 trillion posted on Tuesday.
