Guinness and Arik Air, which are teaming up with national telecoms operator, Globacom, in holding the Glo Evergreen Series, the KSA Edition, said the partnership is aimed at contributing to efforts to revitalise Nigerian music, and not only to celebrate the legends.

The Glo Evergreen Series, slated for February 28 at Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos will present Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye popularly known as King Sunny Ade, master guitarist and one of Africa’s greatest music maestros, as the star attraction at the concert. He will be supported by the Koko master D’banj and one of Africa’s best saxophonists, Yemi Sax.

According to Arik, “Globacom is a truly Nigerian telecommunications company, so is Arik, a truly Nigerian airline. We are very excited to be part of the project from the inception.
