The federal government plans to issue N138.16 billion ($695 million) worth of Treasury bills at an auction on October 21, with maturities range between 3-month and 1-year, the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN) said on Wednesday.
The bank said in a public notice it will issue N36.78 billion worth in the 3-month paper, N35 billion in the 6-month debt and 66.38 billion naira in the 1-year note.
The debt will be issued using the Dutch Auction System and the result is expected the following day.
