Airtel, one of Nigeria’s leading telecom firms, is repositioning to enhance service delivery through the provision of new solutions and products, the company has said. The firm has introduced a service called Automatic Switching Optical Network (ASON) to enhance service delivery as well as Trouble Ticketing to increase network resilience.
Tawa Bolarin, the director, of enterprise at Airtel, said the firm has also come up with new products such as CUG Fusion, Data Plus, Always On and Roam and Home, among others, to ensure that the company’s customers continue to get value for their money.
“CUG Fusion is for both pre-paid and post-paid customers within the same CUG. With Always On, you can save as much as 80 per cent out of the bundle rate and it is free for post-paid data bundles,” Bolarin said, during an exclusive forum for corporate customers, with the theme, ‘Let’s Build a Better Partnership.’ She further said that though many of Airtel’s innovations cost a lot of money, the company does not demand additional charges from customers, indicating that it is committed to satisfying and meeting the needs of customers.
Segun Ogunsanya, chief executive officer and managing director, Airtel Nigeria, said, “We don’t want to be a vendor; we want to be a partner.” “We want to win with you and succeed together,” he said, adding that the telecoms giant has the infrastructure to connect multinationals, banks and other organisations.”
