Forte Oil narrows Q1 pretax loss to N59.19m

Energy firm Forte Oil said on Thursday it had narrowed its first quarter pretax loss to N59.19 million ($297,437) from N167.28 million in the same period last year.

Forte Oil did not give a reason for the improvement in its pretax loss but said in a statement that revenue fell 33.06 billion naira from 34.78 billion naira a year ago.
