A wind of delisting of companies is blowing at the Nigerian Stock Exchange with most companies already in the process as indicated in the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) X-Compliance report.

Some of these companies are: Pinnacle Point Group plc –which is in liquidation process; Afrik Pharmaceutical plc which NSE says is embarking regulatory delisting for non-compliance with post listing obligation; the Tourist Company of Nigeria plc which is voluntarily delisting due to Free Float deficiency; Adswitch plc which is voluntarily delisting due to harsh economic climate; and Cappa & D’alberto plc – a company that is voluntarily delisting.

Other companies that are undergoing regulatory delisting process are: Jos International Breweries plc. The Company has been served with a delisting notice; and Stokvis Nigeria plc –which has also been served with a delisting notice.

Other companies that have been served with a delisting notice include: Nigerian Sewing Machine plc; G Cappa Plc; Big Treat plc; Goldlink Insurance plc; Afroil plc; and West Africa Glass Industries plc.
