94 ships expected at Lagos ports

About 94 ships, carrying various products, are to sail into the Lagos ports from April 30 to May 28, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said.

The NPA daily report, ‘Shipping Position’, released on Tuesday in Lagos said that 12 of the ships were laden with petrol, diesel, and kerosene and bulk gas.

It said that two other ships were carrying bulk malt and bulk wheat.

The document said that the remaining ships had bulk fertiliser, general cargo, gypsum, bulk cement, steel products, fish and bulk soya.

It reported that the ships also had empty containers, bulk salt, crude palm oil, base oil, used and new vehicles, rice and bulk sugar.

NPA said that the ships would berth at ENL Consortium, Josepdam, Tin-Can Island Container Terminal, Five Star Logistics, Apapa Bulk Terminal Ltd., Green-view Development Nigeria Ltd, APM Terminal and Port and Cargo Multiservices Ltd.
