…to deliver 2,000 homes in 5 years
Zylus Group International has perfected plans to deliver 2,000 homes within the next five years as part of its transformative move to address the housing deficit in Nigeria.
Through its real estate subsidiary, Zylus Homes, the firm will address Nigeria’s housing deficit through innovative and sustainable solutions that not only provide shelter, but will create communities, drive economic growth, and improve lives.
Speaking in Lagos at the unveiling of the Zylus Project 2000 in 5years, Oluwatosin Olatujoye, the group chief executive officer of the company said housing is not just about providing shelter; it’s about creating communities, driving economic growth, and improving lives.
According to him, the ambitious housing initiative is part of Zylus Group’s broader mission through the subsidiary Zylus Homes to empower communities and contribute to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and Africa at large.
He said the homes will cater to various income levels, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all Nigerians.

“Over the past six years, Zylus Homes has made significant strides in the real estate sector, launching over 25 estates, delivering more than 600 homes, and enabling over 2,000 Nigerians to become landowners. Building on this track record, this new initiative reflects the company’s drive to go beyond expectations and make a lasting impact on the housing market,” he said.
In his remarks, Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, who represented the Ooni of Ife, commended Zylus Group International for its vision and leadership in the real estate sector, highlighting the importance of public-private collaboration in solving housing challenges.
On her part, Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, the special adviser on Housing to the Lagos State governor lauded the Group’s innovative approach and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting private-sector-driven housing solutions.
To launch the initiative, the GCEO was accompanied by Bukola Olatujoye, the chief executive officer of Zylus Homes; Ayokunmu Adesina, the Surveyor General Lagos State; Olumide Emmanuel, the Board Chairman of Zylus Group International; Niyi Adesanya chief executive officer of Fifth Gear.
Others were Ned Okonkwo; Akintoye Adeoye, president of REDAN; Kunle Adeyemi, vice-president of REDAN, South-West Zone; Kolawole Aspire, chairman of REDAN, Lagos, Ayo Makun, Nigerian comedian and Jumoke Odetola, actress.
The Annual Thanksgiving and Awards Ceremony also featured the recognition of outstanding employees, partners, and stakeholders who have played pivotal roles in the company’s success. Cultural displays, project showcases, and a roadmap unveiling of future projects added to the grandeur of the event.
