Worker’s Day: Xtralarge Farms to host wealth summit in support of Nigerian workers

Moji Davids, the managing director of Xtralarge Farms and Resort Ltd, an agro-tourism company, has disclosed that the firm is set to host a mega-wealth summit in Lagos on May 1, 2024 to celebrate Nigerian workers on this year’s Worker’s Day.

According to her, the event will be hosted at Eko FM in Lagos and that the initiative will be held to celebrate workers across the world. “It is to provide a very stable, secure platform to ensure means for extra income and also to enable financial empowerment for members through agriculture, tourism and health,” she said.

Speaking further on the summit, Davids stated that Xtralarge Farms has kept to its mandate and vision of raising a generation of passionate farmers in Nigeria and across several countries in the world. “Health is wealth and people should use the opportunity to improve their lives.”

According to her, the company trained about 1000 women earlier in the year as part of activities to celebrate the 2024 International Women’s Day on mentorship and empowerment to be millionaires in 90 days.

She disclosed further that the training was inspired by Seyi Davids, the chief executive officer of Xtralarge Farms. According to her, the upcoming wealth empowerment programme is another feather to the company’s cap and people are urged to avail themselves of the golden opportunity.

“The programme will help the women to become certified tourism professionals and healthy living advocates with this Xtralarge Farms initiative. This is capable of putting into their hands between N2 to N10 million within 90 days,” Davids stated.

She further disclosed that the company has consistently championed the growing and consumption of health-giving organic food items. “These include rice, beans, cassava, fine Garri, palm oil, vegetable oil, plantain flour and radish. It has gone further to produce the nutritious Wonder Meal, being sought-after by diabetic and high blood pressure patients.”
