Once again, entertainment lovers and viewers across Nigeria and Africa are set to clue their eyes on TV screens as Big Brother Naija returns for Season 11.
Unarguably Africa’s biggest reality television show, Big Brother premieres on July 26, 2026, on DStv and GOtv.
But while more excitement is brewing for viewers, the stakes are much more higher for the contestants this time.
With N100 million cash prize and a brand new SUV, which sum up a N160 million grand prize, the highest in the history of the show, contestants have something to really fight for, making this year’s show a landmark season.
As rightly pointed out by Atinuke Babatunde, executive head, Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, Season 11 builds on the legacies of previous editions with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale.
Apart from its higher stakes for the contestants, Babatunde assured on quality excitement for viewers, promising redefined entertainment, authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers.
Yet, the new season is throwing up new names and faces, especially an exciting lineup of brand partners.
One of the new names is betPawa, a betting company, which is the headline sponsor of season 11.
But the familiar names include; Guinness, last season’s headline sponsor, which is returning as the gold sponsor this year. Minimie also comes onboard as an associate sponsor.
Another familiar name and face is Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who is returning as the show’s host.
His return delights many viewers who anticipate a season filled with unexpected twists, dynamic tasks, strategic gameplay, entertaining challenges and the authentic interactions that have made Big Brother Naija one of Africa’s most-watched reality TV show franchises.
For betPawa, leading the season’s sponsors will enable it to further create unforgettable experiences that will bring people together through the things they are passionate about, with Big Brother Naija being one of such passions.
According to Borah Omary Ndanyungu, head, local marketing & CSR, betPawa, Big Brother Naija is one of Africa’s most celebrated entertainment properties, hence betPawa is proud to be the headline sponsor for Season 11.
“We look forward to rewarding fans, deepening engagement throughout the season and delivering exciting experiences that complement the energy and excitement of the show,” Ndanyungu promised.
With the premiere, viewers can follow every moment of the action throughout the season on DStv, GOtv, DStv Stream and GOtv Stream, while eligible subscribers can vote through the MyDStv and MyGOtv self-service apps.
Since its return in 2017, Big Brother Naija has evolved beyond a reality TV show into a cultural phenomenon, creating household names, creating jobs across the creative economy, and shaping popular culture.
