We need collaborative efforts to overcome obstacles confronting Nigeria – Funab CEO

Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, president/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, has urged Nigerians to seek Devine forgiveness, support one another, and work together to overcome the country’s challenges.

Ajia, in his Sallah message signed by Abdulrahman Aliagan, Director of Communications, and made available to Journalists in Ilorin said: “we are indeed passing through difficult times in our dear country, Nigeria. The challenges we face, be it economic, social, or security-related, may be overwhelming, however, it is in times like these that we must turn to Allah (SWT) with humility and sincerity, seeking His divine intervention and guidance for our leaders.

“In this spirit of Eid-ul-Kabir, I urge all Nigerians to demonstrate love, compassion, and unity towards one another. Let us support and uplift those in need, and work together to overcome the trials and tribulations that confront us. Only by standing united in our faith and commitment to Allah (SWT) can we find the strength and resilience to navigate these troubled waters.”

Ajia, who prayed to God for blessings, forgiveness, and guidance for both the leaders and the led added that, “this sacred festival reminds us of the unwavering faith and unparalleled sacrifice of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

“As we commemorate this pivotal event in Islamic history, let us reflect deeply on the virtues it embodies: obedience, submission, and devotion to the Almighty Allah.”

Ajia, equally congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, and the entire Ilorin Emirate community on the special occasion, praising the Emir’s preparations for the annual Durba celebrations, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and unity of the community.

“We are particularly delighted to note the preparations for the annual Durba celebrations, which have become a cherished tradition in Ilorin Emirate. This event not only showcases the rich cultural heritage of our people but also serves as a unifying force, bringing together individuals from all walks of life to celebrate our shared identity and values.

“As we join the Emir and the people of Ilorin Emirate in commemorating this special occasion, we pray that the Almighty Allah (SWT) bestow upon us His infinite blessings, forgiveness, and guidance. May He grant us the wisdom and strength to overcome the challenges we face, and may this Eid-ul-Adha usher in a new era of unity, progress, and prosperity for our beloved Ilorin Emirate and its people.”

The Ilorin-born politician and security expert urges all Ilorin indigenes and residents alike to embrace the spirit of this occasion by demonstrating kindness, compassion, and brotherhood towards one another.

“Let us strengthen the bonds of our community, support those in need, and work collectively towards the betterment of our society.”

The statement also acknowledges the socioeconomic difficulties facing Nigeria while encouraging humility, sincerity, and faith in Allah to overcome them.
