THE CD
Larry Huch’s book takes the reader on an empowering look into Yom Kippur (The day of atonement). God’s holiest days of the year. Learn the biblical significance of this sacred day, and it’s history that can be gleaned from the book of Exodus.
THE SHIRT
This Green Ducks Pattern Polo shirt by Topman is really cool. It is a green ditsy ducks pattern polo shirt with plain pocket. It is 50 percent cotton, 50 percent polyester and it is machine washable
THE SUIT
It seems superfluous to include single breasted suits in the fashion trend. The truth really is, they are never out of fashion. But despite being the default style, they’re also the dominant, on-trend suit cut for 2011 and 2012. This sits in contrast to the double breasted suit being the on-trend cut during 2009 and 2010. Single breasted suit is still a must-have.
THE WATCH
Breitling’s first ever timepiece, still going strong today (albeit no longer restricted to the wrists of pilots). Launched in 1952, Breitling say its circular slide rule allows its wearer to perform “all airborne navigation calculations” – don’t worry, it tells the time, too.
THE GADGET
If this is the kind of thing that Sony’s going to be knocking together by itself, we don’t miss the slovenly touch of Ericsson one bit. The beautiful Sony Xperia S is striking on the outside, certainly, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts: a meaty 1.5GHz dual-core processor sits underneath the 4.3-inch display, powering a soon to be updated version of Android 2.3 (4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is coming in the summer). Megapixel’s don’t necessarily mean prizes, but the Xperia S’s rear-facing camera has 12 of the things, along with the ability to record video in proper 1080p HD. Tasty.
THE CAR
Ferrari has succeeded in making a slightly gentler car with the Ferrari California. It is a more usable car, a car less likely to want to smack you in the mouth if you screw up, without diluting the Ferrari experience.
