Professor Titus Saul Ketkukah, commissioner for works and transport, Bauchi State, has urged Kardam community to support him with prayers to enable him justify the confidence reposed in him.
The Commissioner made the appeal during a courtesy call by the Kardam community to his office at the Abubukar Umar Secretariat, Bauchi State.
While speaking on behalf of the community, Mohammad Shehu who is the village head, said they were in the ministry to congratulate Ketkukah over his appointment as Commissioner for works and transport.
He commended the choice of the state Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, for such a consummate professional for the post.
He further said that the diverse and robust experience of Professor Ketkukah would bring a fresh perspective and foster a new paradigm that will stimulate the quest for urban and rural transformation of the administration.
The village head of Kardam called on Governor Muhammad to construct Kardam road which is about 10 kilometers from the main road in his rural transformation project to assist their community.
In his response, Ketkukah expressed appreciation to the community for taking their time to visit him in his office.
He called on the community to support him with prayers to enable him justify the confidence reposed in him by the administration.
He reiterated the commitment of Governor Bala Abdulkadir administration to take the people out of hardship, citing the governor’s effort towards embarking on people-oriented projects across the state.
The Commissioner also emphasized the importance of rural infrastructure in driving development and improving the lives of the rural dwellers.
He assured the Kardam Community that the government would look into their plight.
