The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will host a special thanksgiving service to commemorate the 65th Independence anniversary of Nigeria.

The service, themed ‘The King of Kings’, is scheduled for 7:30 am Sunday, October 5, 2025, at The Throne of Grace, RCCG national headquarters, Redemption Way, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The RCCG, in a statement, invites all stakeholders and the general public to join the solemn national intercession, as the church prays for peace, unity, and divine progress for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to the statement, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the general overseer of the church, guided by divine direction, will lead special prayers for government executives, legislators, politicians, electoral institutions, peacekeeping groups, political leaders, elder statesmen, students of political science, citizens’ rights organisations, and for the people of Nigeria at large.
