Nigeria’s leading edutech firm, ProjKonnect, has formally announced the launch of the Gemnex App, which is an AI-driven platform designed to provide equitable access to tailored academic learning for tertiary students across Nigeria. This recent AI-driven advancement, which integrates with WhatsApp, shows the organisation’s ongoing commitment to making it easier to access high-quality educational resources.
The strategic introduction of the Gemnex App, alongside its dedicated WhatsApp learning channel, aims to transform how Nigerian students engage with bespoke academic content that facilitates their understanding of intricate courses throughout their tertiary education journey. The introduction of this dual-channel educational approach is, therefore, ProjKonnect’s innovative response to the myriad of issues affecting the educational success of an average Nigerian student.
Commenting on the significance of the Gemnex App launch, Paul Ojo, the Founder of ProjKonnect, stated that the digital platform is an innovative response to the educational gaps that have long constrained the academic potential of Nigerian students.
“The fundamental rationale behind the creation of the Gemnex App is to democratise access to educational resources for the future leaders of the nation. To me, the question has never been whether Nigerian students were intellectually capable of navigating their tertiary education, irrespective of the challenges they encounter.
The major question was whether they had seamless access to the support they needed to deeply understand their courses while building the confidence required to explore the professional opportunities ahead of them upon completion of their studies. The overarching aim of ProjKonnect, particularly through Gemnex, is to make education more accessible,” he said.
Speaking about the seamless integration between the Gemnex App and WhatsApp, Onisabi Habeeb, the Partnership Manager of ProjKonnect, noted that the web-based application is flexibly designed to cater for the peculiarities of the Nigerian educational system.
“The sole objective for developing the Gemnex App was to eliminate the need for students to choose between obtaining high-quality academic support and the financial implications of maintaining an internet connection.
Our WhatsApp-integrated learning channel enables students to seek guidance on course-specific questions without the added complications of unreliable network connectivity or restricted mobile data availability. This digital innovation serves to mitigate the accessibility barriers frequently experienced by students within the Nigerian educational landscape,” he claimed.
ProjKonnect is an education software company that leverages high-powered digital technologies to expand access to personalised academic support for Nigerian youths.
