The commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to rewarding diligence, professionalism, and dedicated service has once again been demonstrated through the promotion of Three Hundred and Seventy-Four (374) officers serving in the Kwara State Police Command.

The promotion exercise, approved by the Inspector-General of Police as part of the ongoing nationwide elevation of deserving personnel across the Nigeria Police Force, saw Three Hundred and Sixty-Five (365) Police Constables promoted to the rank of Corporal, Two (2) Corporals elevated to the rank of Sergeant, Five (5) Sergeants promoted to the rank of Inspector, and Two (2) Superintendents of Police advanced to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police.

In a statement signed by Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ojo Adekimi, Commissioner of Police, congratulated the newly promoted officers, describing the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of their commitment, sacrifice, and invaluable contributions to the maintenance of law and order in the state.

Adekimi noted that promotion is not only a reward for hard work and exemplary performance but also a call to greater responsibility. He urged the beneficiaries to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to the core values of the Nigeria Police Force, while rededicating themselves to the protection of lives and property.

The Commissioner further expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his unwavering commitment to personnel welfare, career progression, and institutional development.

He noted that the promotion exercise has significantly boosted the morale of officers and men of the Command and will further enhance their dedication to service delivery.
