Former Military President, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, said on Thursday that the emergence of All Progressive Congress (APC) had vindicated his position on a two-party system for Nigeria.
Babangida told newsmen at his hilltop residence in Minna that he had proposed a two-party system for Nigeria but added he was criticised and vilified for the proposal.
He said the emergence of APC was an indication that the nation was heading towards a two-party system, adding that APC would provide credible opposition and viable choice to the electorate.
