Heliconia Park Hotel & Spa Lagos hosted a cocktail evening at its Victoria Island property, bringing together government officials, corporate executives, and stakeholders from the hospitality, oil and gas, and business sectors.
Among those present was Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture in Lagos State. The gathering marked the first in a planned series of events by the hotel aimed at creating opportunities for interaction among professionals and decision-makers in Lagos.
Speaking during the event, Managing Director of Heliconia Park Hotel & Spa Lagos, Pasquale Fiore, said the hotel is focused on building a space that supports both business and social engagement.
“Our vision is to create a destination where people come together for meaningful connections and memorable moments. We are building Heliconia Park to serve both lifestyle and corporate audiences through world-class hospitality,” he said.
Guests were introduced to the hotel’s facilities, including the Oasis Gourmet Restaurant and Pool Bar, while updates were shared on the planned wellness centre, spa, and convention centre currently under development.
Head of Hospitality Business Development, Makram Khadij, said hospitality trends are changing as guests now seek destinations that combine accommodation, wellness, dining, and leisure experiences in one location.
The event also reflected the growing role of hospitality spaces in Lagos as meeting points for business networking, policy conversations, and social interaction.
