The board and members of the Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria (HBSSAN) will, early next month, hold the first in series of the HBSAN Reflection on Leadership.

The series already slated for Monday, June 3 in Lagos is the association’s new programme designed to bring outstanding business and thought leaders together to share knowledge and experience.

A statement from the association made available to BusinessDay explains that through this sharing of knowledge and experience, the association hopes to educate its audience, stimulate debate, provoke thought and inspire action.

“In keeping with the HBSAN tradition, this particular lecture will be in honour of Akintola Williams who was a past winner of the HBSAN Distinguished Statesman Award”, the statement said, adding that the topic of the lecture would be ‘Ethical Leadership’.

Ethical Leadership, the statement explains further, is a form of corporate leadership which looks beyond profit and self interest as its primary goal, adding that it places more emphasis on influencing followers in a manner that serves the greater good.

An array of speakers who will be sharing their experiences and knowledge on this topic in a refreshing and candid manner have been assembled by the association for the lecture.

They include HBS Professor Sandra Sucher and co-founder and former CEO of GTBank, Fola Adeola.
