To empower women to recognise their value, improve their wellbeing and build confidence, RaiyanInspires Consulting Limited has hosted a one- day summit in Lagos with the theme, ‘From worth to wealth: How self-worth shapes wealth and well-being’.

The event brought together women from different professional and personal backgrounds for a transformative experience focused on self-worth, wellness, visibility, leadership, and wealth creation.

Attendees at the event participated in networking activities, panel discussions, wellness sessions, reflection moments, karaoke activities, and audience engagement sessions.

Speaking at the annual event tagged, “The Lifesync Experience: Mother’s day experience”, CEO of RaiyanInspires Consulting Limited who is also the convener of the summit, Mounfiq Raiyan, said the theme of this year’s summit, “From worth to wealth: How self-worth shapes wealth and wellbeing,” also hoped to encourage personal growth and mindset transformation among the women folk.

Highlighting the need for women to acquire and master skills, she said: “acquire and master the skill you are best at and find a need in the market place. With every problem there is an opportunity to solve based on your skills.’’

While stating that women can contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development in many ways she said, “We have to start with ourselves first, how we see ourselves go a long way to helping us improve our financial conditions.

“We need to know that we have a lot of qualities as women, which we can use as leverage to change our economic situation and eradicate limits.

“It begins with our identity. How do you really see yourself? Are you a victim? Or are you a survivor?

“When we see ourselves always at the receiving end of situations, we will be powerless to making a change for ourselves’’.

However, she stressed the need for women to build their confidence so as to implement those qualities that would improve the economy situation.

In her words: “We must rid ourselves of the stereotypes that are holding us back as women

“They are there to limit us. Our qualities as negotiators, mediators, care givers, home makers among others are viable qualities we can monetise.

“The power to change your economic destiny starts with you and you must be resilient and tenacious then develop a growth mindset so that you can overcome the inevitable challenges along the way.’’

On the other hand, she advised women to vote massively, lobby and rally around the female candidates for electoral offices.

In addition to supporting them, to get appointed in every level of government from local to state and then to federal, she added that it is critical for women to become more intentional about leadership and governance.

Speaking on “The Power of Impact and Influence” Stephanie Kadiri, stressed the need for women to leverage their platforms to drive meaningful change in their communities.

Grace Ofure who spoke on “Your wealth identity”, said that true wealth begins with how you see yourself as ones income will never outgrow herself–image.

Explaining further Ofure said: ” who you think you are determines what you think you deserve. Women should also engage on profitable ventures.”
