Senior compliance officers, governance professionals, legal practitioners and regulators from across Africa will converge on Lagos to bridge the gap between local compliance practice and global expectations.
The one-day Africa’s Ethical Compliance Future 2026 forum, designed to bridge and promote a stronger compliance culture across institutions is scheduled to hold on May 21, 2026.
The forum is jointly organised by Graypatch Advisory Limited and CCC Consultancy Group Ltd, will be limited due to the executive-level nature of the gathering.
According to organisers, the one-day executive forum is expected to attract over 100 senior-level participants drawn from Africa and international markets.
The conference will focus on ethics, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, amid growing calls for stronger accountability, transparency and alignment with global regulatory standards across African institutions.
Organisers disclosed that the forum comes at a time when organisations within the financial services sector, fintech industry and the wider private sector are facing increasing pressure to demonstrate governance maturity and ethical business practices beyond basic regulatory compliance.
“Across Africa and globally, compliance is no longer just about meeting regulatory requirements; it is about building institutions that can be trusted,” Funso Kale, founder, CCC Consultancy Group Ltd, said in a statement.
According to Kale, compliance had evolved into a key pillar for institutional credibility and trust.
Ayobami Adisa, founder, Graypatch Advisory Limited, described the conference as timely, noting that Nigeria must continue to strengthen its reputation for ethical business conduct.
“This conference is both timely and necessary. As Nigeria seeks to strengthen its global reputation for ethical business conduct,” Adisa stated.
According to him, there is a clear need to equip compliance practitioners with the tools, knowledge and perspective required to navigate rapidly evolving global standards,” Adisa said.
According to him, discussions at the form will cover emerging regulatory trends across African jurisdictions, the role of corporate boards in driving ethical culture, transparency obligations for regulated entities and the intersection between environmental, social and governance priorities and compliance frameworks.
Panel sessions and presentations will feature experts and practitioners from Africa, the United Kingdom and other international markets, with participants expected from the private sector, government institutions, regulatory agencies and civil society organisations.
