Godiya Iliya Wakil, aspirant for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency, on Friday felicitated Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State and other Moslem Ummah on the successful completion of their 30 days prayer and fasting.

The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement signed by the party chieftain and made available to journalists in Bauchi. He said: “May this Eid bring peace to our homes, clarity to our purpose, and progress to our nation.”

Wakil extended his heartfelt wishes to his constituents, particularly members of the Moslem community, for a peaceful and fulfilling celebration marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

“As we mark this special day, let’s reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and strive to apply them beyond the fasting period. May our actions be guided by the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.”

He said that “This season reflects discipline, reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to values that strengthen our society. As we mark this occasion, may the lessons of patience, generosity, and unity continue to guide our actions and shape our constituency, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.

“On behalf of myself, family, supporters and the entire people of my constituency, Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal, I extend my worm felicitation to our Muslims people for the successful and completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid el-Fitr, it is our desire that the devoted time you take for the fasting will not go in vain.

“As we celebrate Eid el-Fitr, may this special occasion bring peace, renewed hope, and abundant blessings to every home. It is a time of gratitude, compassion, and unity, values that continue to guide us as we build a stronger and more inclusive society together. May the spirit of the season strengthen our bonds, inspire kindness, and usher in greater prosperity for our communities.”

Wakil commended their devotion, sacrifice, and commitment to the values of faith, discipline, compassion, and generosity demonstrated throughout the fasting period.
He expressed hope that the lessons of Ramadan would continue to inspire acts of kindness, tolerance, unity, and patriotism among all citizens.

He emphasised the need for Nigerians to uphold these virtues in order to foster peaceful coexistence and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

He called on all citizens to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for the peace, unity, and progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria, while also reaching out to the less-privileged in the spirit of the season.

Godiya Iliya Wakil better known as (GIWA) assured the people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa federal constituency that he would lead with the fear of God, if given the opportunity.
