EHA Clinics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) toward improving primary healthcare delivery in the state.

The signing ceremony was held at the Office of Omosigho Izedonmwen, executive secretary, EDSPHCDA in Ezoti, Benin City.

Izedonmwen thanked the EHA Clinics team for agreeing to partner with the state government.

He highlighted the significant investments made by Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo State, in infrastructure, water, solar, internet connectivity, furniture, essential drugs, equipment, telemedicine consultations, technology, and insurance to ensure the people of Edo receive quality care.

Izedonmwen welcomed the proposed partnership, noting that he is confident it would complement the governor’s efforts and acknowledged the remarkable work EHA Clinics is doing across Nigeria.

In response, Ifunanya Ilodibe, Chief Medical Officer of EHA Clinics, expressed her gratitude to Izedonmwen for the warm welcome extended to her and her team.

She viewed the partnership as an opportunity to enhance the already impressive primary healthcare initiatives in Edo State. She expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating with the Agency to improve the health outcomes of the Edo people.

“Our dream is to revolutionise primary healthcare across Nigeria, and we are committed to more public and private partnerships. We truly believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare,” Ilodibe stated.

The partnership aims to leverage the strengths and resources of both organizations to achieve universal healthcare in Edo State, provide expertise and management services from EHA Clinics, and collaborate on healthcare improvement strategies.

Those who witnessed the MoU signing include Osakpolor Osarenotor, Edo State counsel, Ministry of Justice; Nora Ogbebor-Nwadialo, head, Legal Unit EDSPHCDA; Paul Michael Hogan, chief operations officer, EHA Clinics; and AbdulKareem Iyamu, senior manager, Client Operations, EHA Clinics.
