The campaign, themed ‘Say No to Cultism, Yes to a Better Future,’ took place at the NYSC Demonstration Secondary School and focused on the dangers of cultism and the need for students to embrace peaceful coexistence and education-driven development.

Organisers highlighted that cultism continues to destroy lives, dreams, and communities, while also contributing to violence, school expulsion, imprisonment, and insecurity across society.

The event stressed the importance of promoting peace and non-violence, fostering quality education, and encouraging young people to embrace opportunities and responsible leadership for the development of the Niger Delta region Drugs and cultism are dangerous enemies of progress and destiny.

The deputy Commander of Narcotics NDLEA Cross River State, Roseline Ada said that drugs destroy the future of individuals, families, and society.

Every young person must avoid drug abuse and cultism and choose a life of discipline, education, peace, and hard work.

A good future is built through wise decisions, positive friendships, and good character. Youths must remember that their future is precious and should never be exchanged for temporary pleasure or criminal activities.
