The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) is gearing up to host its 56th International Conference and Exhibition (ICE).
The Themed: ‘Managing People and Businesses for Resilience,’ the event will bring together HR professionals from across Africa to explore strategies for navigating today’s dynamic business environment.
According to a statement by CIPM, the conference would be a gathering of global experts and industry leaders.
The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Kennedy Dike described the upcoming event as significant for HR leaders.
Scheduled for October, at the Chida Event Centre, the CIPM’s ICE is the largest HR gathering in Africa.
The conference will feature renowned speakers and industry leaders who will share their expertise on fostering resilience in both people and businesses.
“In the face of ongoing economic challenges, organisations need adaptable and effective HR practices to thrive,” says Dike.
“This year’s ICE provides a platform for HR professionals to gain valuable insights and practical tools to build resilience within their teams and organisations,” he further said.
He also said that the CIPM #ICE2024 will offer a variety of learning opportunities, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and an exhibition showcasing the latest HR technologies and solutions. Participants will also have the chance to network with colleagues from across Africa.
