ATHCON to engage tourism stakeholders at 2026 conference, induction

The Association of Tourism and Hospitality Consultants of Nigeria (ATHCON) has disclosed preparations for its annual conference and induction ceremony for April 23, 2026 at the Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja.

According to a press statement by Olatunde Oluloye, president of the association, the event will bring together key stakeholders, industry leaders, policymakers, and professionals across Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem. The conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue, share innovative insights, and explore strategies for advancing the sector in alignment with global best practices.’’

With the theme; “Growth, sustainability, and innovation within the tourism and hospitality industry”, the conference will feature among others keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to inspire collaboration and drive impactful change.

“A major highlight of the event will be the induction ceremony, where new members will be formally admitted into ATHCON. This segment underscores the Association’s commitment to expanding its network of professionals dedicated to excellence, ethical standards, and capacity building within the industry,” Oluloye said
