The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch A. Adeboye, has called on believers to tap into God’s perfection by heeding His words as written in the Bible to enjoy a perfect life.

He stated this in a sermon titled, ‘Total Perfection’ during his recent visit to RCCG Overcomers’ Assembly, Region 31, in company of his wife, Folu Adeboye.

“This is the second time in my life that I have been in this area, so somebody is going to get a special miracle today.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither a shadow of turning,” Adeboye stated, as he read from the book of James 1, verse 17, in sharing his message of total perfection with his congregation.

He further urged the worshippers to follow after God’s promises as highlighted in Psalm 18 verse 30, which says; ‘‘His way is perfect, everything about God is perfect. Whatever he does, he does it perfectly.

“Our Lord God is perfect. He is a perfect light; no shadow at all in him. He is perfectly good, perfectly kind, perfectly generous, perfectly loving and everything about him is perfect,” he stated.

He was welcomed to the church service by Joseph Adeyokunnu, Pastor-in-charge of RCCG Region 31, who also doubles as the Intercontinental Financial Controller, and his wife, Felicia Adeyokunnu.

In a related development, the Region also celebrated the 76th birthday of Folu Adeboye, with goodwill messages from the worshippers.

“My joy knows no bounds. It’s like God himself visiting us. Daddy said that he heard from God to come here. That means we have a divine visitation. Nothing, nothing more, coming in the seventh month, the month of perfection, and more importantly in the month of my birth, to me it’s a birthday gift,” Pastor Joseph Adeyokunnu stated

Felicia Adeyokunnu stated that God has started the work of perfection in the lives of the congregation. ‘‘We use this occasion to especially thank our daddy and our mummy. Mummy, we say happy birthday once again, God will give you a long life and good health in the name of Jesus.”

Another worshipper and pastor in the Region, Babafemi Ayanda, stated that the worshipers’ perfection shall be made permanent in the name of Jesus.

“We believe our lives will not remain the same again, not only in the Overcomers Assembly but in the whole of Region 31. Daddy, we love you, mummy, we love you, you will live long and we will continue to see more of you.”

Joel Odunayo Daramola, on his part stated that God has used the visit as a point of contact for the worshippers in the Region.

“We welcome our daddy E.A. Adeboye and Mummy Folu Adeboye to Region 31. The Almighty God has used them for us today. We are very blessed. I was privileged to be here at Daddy’s first visit twenty-five years ago, precisely, 1999. I thank God I witnessed the second one, the perfect one.”
